Fried Chicken and Herb

This menu I usually cook for my friends when they come to visit my family. Because it is easy to cook and the most ingredient is herb.

Today I use grilled chicken to cook. However you can fried chicken instead.

Let's try !!

Ingredient :

  • 300 g. grilled chicken
  • 2 tablespoons chopped garlic
  • 2 tablespoons chopped lemon grass
  • 1 tablespoons chopped galangal
  • 2 tablespoons chopped Kaffir lime leaves
  • 5 Fresh Kaffir lime leaves
  • 4 - 6 hot dry chilli
  • 1 tablespoons pepper
  • 1/2 table salt
  • Tempura flour
  • Water
  • Vegetable oil

Cooking Method :

  • Prepare the tempura batter (add cold water and tempura flour together then mix lightly).
  • Chop the chicken then put it into the tempura batter.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in the wok then fry the chicken until golden brown, put on plate.
  • Add 1 tbs. vegetable oil in the wok. Put chopped garlic, chopped lemon glass, Kaffir lime leaves, chopped kaffir lime leaves, dry chilli then stir fry around 1 - 2 minutes.
  • Add fried chicken into the wok. Stir fry and season with salt and pepper. Continue to stir-fry for around 2 minutes.

Now ready to serve.

I contacted you yesterday, asking about the difference between gai lan and phak kana.

I now know that gai lan is the Chinese word for phak kana. Sorry to bother you.
